The GMD - Japan Research Laboratory is dedicated to original research and collaborations with partners working on the following areas:

• Autonomous Robust Robots
• Telecooperation

Beside the appreciation for the obvious need for theories, we are deeply concerned with the physical world, where one needs to be encouraged enough to leave the track of well founded theories from time to time. Thus the strategies of the lab. are twofold:

• Physical experiments,
  which are a main source for inspirations and falsifications for hypothesis.
• Well founded theories,
  in order to get insights and generalizations beyond individual tests.

Choosing adequate applications environments as fruitful scientific experimental setups as well as keeping the topics 'on physical grounds', we are well prepared to discuss with you about collaborations.
