Hybrid Information Processing
in Adaptive Autonomous Vehicles

Reisensburg (Günzburg), July 22 - 24

Program

Symposium Theme:

The central theme of the symposium is the integration of symbolic and subsymbolic (in particular: neural) methods of information processing. Talks on work done in the context of robotics are preferred, but not mandatory. More special topics of interest include, but are not limited to sensor fusion, object recognition, representation of and reasoning with spatial and temporal information, motion, action, navigation, and behaviours.

Symposium Format:

The symposium will feature a number of invited speakers delivering talks of about 40 minutes. There will be ample time for discussion among the invited speakers and members of the SFB.

Participation:

Participation is by invitation only. If you are interested to participate, please contact Gerhard Kraetzschmar.

Conference Site:

The conference site is Reisensburg Castle, a beautiful old castle near Ulm that has been restaurated and is now used as a conference and workshop venue for University of Ulm.

Travel:

Travel arrangements from Ulm to Reisensburg Castle will be made for each participant. Ulm is located about halfway between Munich and Stuttgart and is easily accessiable via ICE trains from all major German cities (about 1 hour from Stuttgart or Munich).
